Aurélie Sannier

Dr Aurélie Sannier is a Pathologist at the Department of Pathology at Bichat Hospital in Paris, France.

She joined the Paris Institute for Transplantation and Organ Regeneration in 2023.

Dr Aurélie Sannier defended her M.D. in 2014 and her Ph.D. in Immunology in 2017. She is currently an Associate Professor at Bichat Hospital and Paris Cité University. Her research interest focuses on tissue-based precision diagnostics in allograft and xenograft rejection. Her work integrates complementary technologies, including digital pathology, artificial intelligence, multiplex immunostaining and transcriptomics, to provide a multidimensional analysis in transplantation.
She is involved in several Banff working groups (digital pathology, xenotransplantation). She was an awardee of the European Society of Pathology Academy in 2022. She also serves on the board of the College of Pathologists of Greater Paris University Hospitals, where she is responsible for the research committee.
