Dany Anglicheau

Dany Anglicheau is Professor of Nephrology at the Department of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at Necker Hospital, Paris, France.

He his editorial board member of Transplantation since 2010.

Dany Anglicheau is the director of the Necker Transplant Biobank (part of the DIVAT-Biobank) and he also leads a research team of 10 people involved in biomarker discovery in the Necker Hospital campus, to ensure efficient translational research from bench to bedside in transplantation medicine. 

His research career has developed around the theme of biomarker discovery in kidney transplant recipients. He pioneered the field of pharmacogenetics of immunosuppressive drugs. After a 2 years post-doctoral fellowship in the Suthanthiran’s lab at Cornell University, New York, his research now focuses on biomarker discovery and pathophysiology of chronic kidney disease progression. He is now a recognized expert in the field of biomarkers in kidney transplantation and has been involved in international consortia dedicated to innovative diagnostic biomarkers discovery after renal transplantation.

​Pr. Anglicheau has received several awards including the 2007 Young Investigator Award of the French Society of Nephrology. He his editorial board member of Transplantation since 2010. He is a member of the French Speaking Society of Transplantation, the French Society of Nephrology-Dialysis-Transplantation and the American Society of Nephrology. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles mainly on renal transplantation.
