Denis Glotz

Denis Glotz is Head of the Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation Department, Saint-Louis Hospital-APHP, Paris, France and Professor of Nephrology at Paris Diderot University, France.

He is member of the Paris Translational Research Center for Organ Transplantation since 2008.

Pr. Denis Glotz defended his M.D. in 1984 from Paris St. Antoine University. He was granted a research fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, USA in 1987. He defended his PhD in Immunology in 1990. 

He obtained the “ASHI Clinical science award” in 2012.

His research interests focus on the treatment of antibody-mediated rejection, renal transplantation induction therapy, endothelial cell activation, and renal machine perfusion. 

Pr. Denis Glotz was past president of the French Speaking society of Transplantation and member of the board of the Banff Foundation.
